Poisonous, billowing clouds cover the earth. They constantly churn overhead. You’ve lived beneath this Smog your entire life.
People have been forced inside artifice, trapped by concrete and tradition. They live and die in buildings — with some never leaving their birthplace dwelling — and they worship stories.
When the expendable, utterly necessary few leave their shelters, they encase their heads in filtration masks. You are, sadly, quite expendable. But you have a plan to tell a new story, one of the sky, and light, and beauty. You’ve made a Kite.
Soar is a 2D vertical exploration game where you control your Kite by pulling its tether left and right. Catching gusts at the right angle will send you soaring. Fly to capture your story.
